Fleet Training
Organisations are now facing a number of complex issues around the provision of company cars, not least of which are the potential legislative changes regarding their responsibilities for the Health and Safety of employees whilst driving. Add the administrative costs of dealing with road traffic accidents, payment of sick pay to drivers injured in road traffic accidents and the potential costs of increased insurance premiums and the concept of prevention rather than cure takes on greater significance.
At Essandelle we work closely with our clients to provide an opportunity for their drivers to come to our training with an open mind so that your time and money are not wasted. We aim to dispel the belief that Fleet driver training is about providing people with the skills to drive outside the legal speed limits so that they can fit more appointments into the day and achieve an understanding that it is about driving in a timely manner but safely. All of our Trainers hold current DSA ADI qualification (Approved Driving Instructor), are qualified as Driving Instructor Trainers as well as holding DSA Fleet Driver Trainer qualification and are experienced in delivering high quality training for a variety of specialist driving categories.
So what is Fleet Driver Training about? Fleet Driver Training is about raising the standard of driving by teaching advanced driving techniques, defensive driving skills, enhancing hazard perception and increasing observation skills. By using all of the additional skills acquired on a Fleet Driver Training course any driver can reduce the risk of being involved in a road traffic accident.
How do Essandelle work with their Clients?
We ask you these questions while gathering information about your requirements:
- Has anyone in your organisation had a road traffic accident in the last 12 months?
- Has anyone in your organisation got a speeding ticket in the last 12 months?
- Would you like to be able to negotiate a reduction in your vehicular insurance premiums?
- Have you had to pay employee sick pay as a result of a traffic accident?
- Are you concerned that potential legislative changes in Health and Safety will have a negative impact on your organisation in relation to employees driving whilst at work?
At Essandelle we firmly believe that it is important to identify what your requirements are so that our training can be tailored to meet them. We offer a variety of packages to meet individual client needs for small, medium and large enterprises for all Category B vehicles (cars and light goods vehicles up to 3,500 kilos).
